Volunteer
With 2000 members and growing, we currently have over 150 volunteers!
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and become more involved in the club. Volunteering also helps out the club, as many aspects are managed by its members.
All the income collected by the individual clubs within the Evergreen family and by the Evergreen Lounge food services and special events are invested back into the club to pay for expenses and buy new equipment.
To get started, fill out a Volunteer Registration Form and submit to the Filberg Centre front counter, or in person or by email to Cathy Audia (email address below). Thank you!

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Have you been meaning to start giving back to the club by volunteering? Then perhaps this is the year! Read the Volunteer Call Out section in the newsletter each month to see our current volunteer opportunities. There is always a new way to contribute.
DJ for Halloween Dance
The Evergreen Club is hosting a costume party and dance on Friday, October 30th from at 7:30-9:30 pm and we are looking for a person who is willing to take on the roll of Disc Jockey! All you need is a phone will Apple Music or Spotify and the desire to keep the dance floor hopping. It is sure to be a fun evening for all!
Piano Player
Both our Gospel Sing Club and Choristers Clubs are looking for a pianist to play along with the singers. The two respective clubs meet on Thursday’s at 10:30 am and Fridays at 10:30 am. If you would like more information about volunteering for either of these positions please see each Club’s write up in this newsletter.
Kitchen Callers
You can volunteer for the Evergreen Club without even leaving your house! We are looking for volunteers willing to field calls from our Kitchen Volunteers and then place calls to fill the position. Volunteer callers typically receive 2-4 phone calls after regular office hours each month.
Poster Hangers
Do you have a few minutes to help us promote our special events? We are looking for members who are willing to hang some of our special event posters around town. Take 1 or 20; every little bit helps, and we appreciate everyone’s help.
Kitchen Volunteers
As the kitchen is open Monday to Friday, we can always use another helping hand. If you would like a chance to immerse yourself in the EG Club, volunteering in the kitchen is a great place to start! As a thank you, Kitchen Volunteers receive some sweet perks! Commitment starts at just three shifts a month. All training is provided, including Food Safe, if interested.
