Conductor Greg Bush and every member of the 17-person Georgia Strait Big Band invite you to a lovely afternoon of live music complimenting the romantic theme of Valentine’s Day. There will be something for everyone! There will be premium up close seating for those wanting a concert experience and a dance floor for those looking to dance! You can look forward to an afternoon of memorable songs selected from the band’s 300 song library for this lovely event.
New Members Welcome - February 2026
It is a great time to immerse yourself into the Evergreen Club! The February New Members’ Welcome will be on Wednesday, February 18th from 1:00 to 2:15 pm in the Rotary Hall. We invite you to join us, to learn about everything the Evergreen Club has to offer. We will provide an overview of the Club which includes special events, trips, activity clubs and volunteering. We will also answer questions and give a tour.

St. Patrick's Day Pub Night 2026
We are excited to welcome back Island Time with Heather Sprout and Perry Johnson to bring us a variety of great music for dancing and to bring out the Irish Spirit! The event will have a licensed cash bar with beer, wine, cider and snacks available for purchase. Tickets will on sale mid February for this special St. Patrick’s Day party! Tickets will be in advance only, at the Florence Filberg Centre Reception, $15 for Evergreen Club members and $20 for non-members. This is a fundraiser for the Evergreen Club, so come out and party with us and support the club!

Evergreen Club Bake Sale
As The Evergreen Club is a nonprofit organization we rely proceeds from fundraisers.
There are two ways to support this fundraiser:
ONE
Bring in your home-baked goodies packaged and ready to sell. Drop off your donations on Monday, December 1st between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm or on Tuesday, December 2nd before 10:00 am.
TWO
(This is the easy part.) Shop the sale. Pick up some home- baked goods for the holidays. We will have cookies, squares, pies, jams, breads and more! The baked goods go very quickly so come early!

The Evergreen Club is starting a Speaker Series! We will be bringing in guest speakers that will be of interest to our members. We are very excited to announce our first presenter will be MARS Wildlife Rescue. Join us for an interesting and informative presentation about this local wildlife rehabilitation centre.
