Join in for this inaugural seniors event sponsored by the Evergreen Club. Registration is only $5 pay at the door, there is no pre-registration. This age 55+ event challenges you and your friends to complete your choice of one, of three, predetermined routes (1.5 km, 2.5 km, 4 km). All routes begin/ end at the Evergreen lounge in the Filberg Centre. Routes can be completed in any fashion you choose, e.g., walk, jog, bike, etc. You do not have to be a member to participate! This event is non-competitive, the amount of time it takes to complete is not important. The “CHALLENGE” is to complete the route. You will also receive a customized Event Lanyard, can participate in a Scavenger Hunt Contest, and will be able to relax with refreshments and snacks after the event. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank. The Get-Up-and-Go Challenge is a convenient opportunity to get out and have some exercise and fun with your friends.
