December 2020 - President’s Message

A message from Gord Kruger, Evergreen Club president

Greetings to all.....I only wish I could come to you with some good news but it seems that Covid has decided it will stay with us for a while yet. It has been such a discouraging time and by now has gone on for too long. I think of our club and the membership constantly and share your disdain for all of what is going on around us. Thinking of all of the good times we've had and the many great things we've done together over the years is the one thing we should all try to hang on to. They will return, hopefully soon. The recent positives we have heard about the new vaccines lends hope that things will get a lot better in the very near future.

Janet and her team have been very busy trying to come up with new ideas to keep us connected. Virtual get togethers have played a part and now we can also provide ZOOM to get people and clubs together.

Please don't lose hope my friends......we are in uncharted territory and we will learn together and work together to beat this thing.

I realize that there is much uncertainty out there but staying together and sharingthe commonality of hope is vital.
