A message from Gord Kruger, Evergreen Club president

Greetings once again everyone!!!.....Well, here we are, almost at the end of another year and still looking at the pesky Covid 19.....and now joined by another mutant cousin....the mighty "Omicron".... just to make our life even more difficult and dangerous. Over the last many months Janet and her team have overcome many issues to basically get our Evergreen Club back in action. Most of our clubs are now back in operation and it's great to see smiling faces in the hallways and activity areas as well in our lounge. Janet is providing further detail to all of this in her report. What Omicron may or may not do to our club is anyone's guess but I think if we continue to follow the protocols that are there for us we'll get through it all and continue to progress.

I'm not going to dwell on operational issues any more in this report as I am a little worn with the COVID thing and I'd like to change the topic and talk about the upcoming holiday season. I would like to think that we are all together on what might be the greatest CHRISTMAS GIFT of all....an end to the pandemic. On behalf of your Executive I want to take a moment to wish you all a wonderful Holiday Season with the Happiest Christmas and a truly Happy New Year. May your holiday be magical and blissful and may everything on your wish list come true. Remember...Christmas is a feeling true friends share with laughter and love to show that they care....your friendship and love that you share will most often make the greatest of gifts. May this season called CHRISTMAS bring you a joy that lasts you through the year............MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR .....gk
